Finally, we’re out!

Today, Article 50 will be triggered.
Finally, the UK will begin the process of leaving the EU, cutting EU regulation that has accreted over 44 years.
We can finally give our fishing industry their livelihoods back, instead of the raw deal we’re being forced to accept now, with the common fisheries policy, which has lead to 60% of the fishing fleet being scrapped, and the loss of £1.5 billion of revenue. At the moment, 80% of fish caught in UK waters is caught by EU ships. I urge our representatives across the region to fight for the British fishing industry, it is vital, and should not be used as a bargaining chip in the upcoming renegotiation.
