Mr Taylor [letters 23 February] is wrong when stating that Mr Lamb followed his conscience on the Brexit vote. He did not; he abstained, and followed his normal “cunning plan” of sitting on the fence!
Another area where Mr Lamb may be sailing close to the wind is on the question of the poor mobile phone signal in our area. Surely this is the responsibility of central government where Mr Lamb has had a voice for many years rather than a campaign issue for the local elections by the Liberal Democratic party. I hope that Mr Lamb and his party can guarantee delivery on this dubious promise and that the electorate will not be let down as they were on the tuition fee fiasco last time round.
